Meeting people where they’re at and sharing Jesus, one warm pancake at a time! Missionary Anthony Giambroni shares how H2O Kent is using fresh pancakes to reach college students at Kent State University.
Anthony is on staff with H2O Church at Kent State University in Ohio where he longs to see young people redeemed by the gospel of Jesus. He knows that if we can partner with God to reach the leaders of tomorrow, we can truly reach the world! Anthony works with H2O because he believes that the college years are some of the most influential and formational years of a person's life and thus a critical time in which they can be transformed by Jesus.
Currently, Anthony serves at H2O Church as the outreach team lead and therefore oversees and equips the church for missional engagement on campus and in the community. On a regular basis Anthony also disciples young men, leads small groups, reaches out to international students, and teaches the Bible. Planted in late 2008, H2O has grown to include nearly 200 students and is now positioned to impact the lives of even more students at KSU.
H2O Kent is a community of college students and postgraduates who are pursuing God and being transformed by His love for them. Each person comes from a different background, and each has a unique story to tell. Some have a strong faith foundation and some are exploring God for the first time in college. What unites the people of H2O Kent is their shared passion to know the God who created them, rescued them, and transforms them in Jesus Christ.
