Who is Reliant?
We were born in 1989 as a mission support agency for a small group of campus church planters. A lot's changed since then! (Less stonewashed jeans, for one).
Today we mobilize church planters and missionaries across like-minded missional groups and church-planting networks. As we've expanded our partnerships, we've adopted a new name. Yet our devotion to Jesus' command to "Go and make disciples..." remains. It's who we are.

I love Reliant because... Our sweet spot is serving ministries by being faithful in the administrative aspects of employment services allowing ministries to focus on fulfilling their calling.
A favorite scripture of mine is:"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength..." Isaiah 30:15
Right this minute I'm probably... Thinking about what policies, processes, procedures, programs, and or systems can enrich the employment experience for our Central and field staff.

Overseeing the functional areas of human resources in all stages of the employment life cycle. We ensure the design and implementation of processes and programs are supported by systems meeting regulatory requirements, best practices, and the highest ethical standards. It is my goal to develop, coach, and support our staff for maximum ministry impact.
I lead today because…
God has created amazing opportunities in my life to be mentored by some inspiring leaders and roles that have allowed me to develop and practice those skills. I have been a leader in human resources for over 20 years, with nearly a decade of it in the faith-based sector. God has revealed strengths in the areas of strategy, employment law, and conflict resolution which I lean into trusting that He will be present in any challenges that may arise. Reliance on Him is critical to lead from a place of health and I seek to glorify him in my personal and professional interactions. I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful team here at Reliant.
I hold a BA in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo and a MBA with a concentration in Organization Leadership and HR Management from the University of New Mexico. I am a life long learner as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional and always looking for an inspiring leadership book.
I am motivated by...
Seeing excellence. Far too often Christian organizations neglect the employee experience as an employer in the name of ministry. I believe Christian employers should lead the ranks as employers shepherding the talents and gifts of His precious children. Reliant is an awesome example of an organization that seeks to create a thriving workforce to empower those in the field to serve the underserved, find the lost, and reach the unreached for the kingdom of God.
Nothing motivates or brings me more joy than my first job of being a wife and mother to my five beautiful kids. I am moved by God's overflowing grace that has helped me balance and love both my personal and professional callings.
